Latest news: Chair The TBC extends thanks to TBC member Mel Ellis for her dedicated and invaluable contribution as she steps down as chair. The current steering committee members remain in place until the AGM in October where members will be elected to fill official roles. Existing committee members as always are available to be contacted with any queries. Public Meeting Many thanks to all who attended the first public meeting at Teddington Baptist Church where the chairman of the Steering Committee presented the groups reasons for creation, its objectives and scope for future plans. There were just under a hundred attendees from high street shops, restaurants, salons, local office-based businesses and home workers - who were keen to find out all about the new association and how it can make a difference to the business community. If you couldn't attend, here is the text from the presentation. Many attendees took full advantage of the opportunity to connect with other local business owners and to discuss matters with steering committee members. Much positive feedback was received along with valuable comments and suggestions for taking the TBC forwards. The latest draft constitution can be downloaded here and for those interested in joining the TBC, along with the payment and membership form with instructions. You can learn more about the TBC by downloading the prospectus.
